hey guys...nice forum over here .was referred here by tommy.. okay heres the problem i installed f22 on another machine using a different cd.. it didnt ask me for a cd key..after install i tried to update the product but the wizard said access denied..anonymous logins not allowed..so i downloaded the only patch i could find from novas site and then installed the no cd patch and ran it.. now every time i log into a room im thrown out and the game crashes after 1-2 secs..this also happens when i play any quick mission except the first one. any ideas? athlon xp 200 1.7 gigabye k7 (latest bios and drivers) 40 gigs 256 ddr 266 mhz geforce 2 mx400 43.03 detonator win xp professional tx prophecy

What was the patch? Was it the original update?
Uninstall/ reinstall and make sure you get the original update.exe - I know it's around somewhere.
Someone should read this and post a link to it here, or be able to contact you with a way to get it via ICQ or whatever... Hope this helps.

I ran into the crashing problem with Zonealarm.
I also had the "Anonymous login not allowed" problem when I had cookies disabled.
But as always, correlation does not equal causation.

For awhile this last week nova's update was not available, i couldnt get an update there and I had th same problem with my new p/c and game(Llare put th game on my p/c but i used my old(keyed) disc to fly th game), which dumped after i left nova ... after installin th no c/d patch , th system dumps left after a few games .it did leave me in a system dump every time i tried to host tho...finally i used an old init file and that too went away. u guys should see this ,p/c ...Llaredrum H/c built it...shipped it ups..1.5 hours from out of th box to flyin . just got it last week...
