sp2 caused my icq to constantly be disconnecting and reconnecting to dsl.

yep, it screwed everything up until i made a few adjustments....like the firewall, outlook express etc.

I turn my Firewall off... always have, but have Nortons running and havent cought a Virus yet( knock on wood)

To be quite honest Ive found SP2 better than XP+sp1 if only for the fact that the the firewall is easier to configure

Thats true, Now I have to click a Button and my Firewall is OFF, instead of Digging and Proding to get to the Firewall control

OK just installed it. so far so good. Started up all my online games & comms, and they all work without a hitch so far... no big deal.

It is recomendet to install windows xp with the built in sp2 over upgrading yr current sp1 to sp2. I done that and it seems to work better than the old sp1. Only thing you have to do is to turn off all firewalls! It runs like a ... hmm.. well great.. lol.. greets..
