;D ;D ;D ;D ;D DICTA BOELCKE - RULES FOR SUCCES IN AIR COMBAT
by: Hauptman Oswald Boelcke
1. Try to secure advantages before attacking. If possible keep the sun behind you. 2. Always carry through an attack when you have started it. 3. Fire only at close range and only when your opponent is properly in your sights. 4. Always keep your eye on your opponent, and never let yourself be deceived by ruses. 5. In any form of attack it is essential to assail your opponent from behind. 6. If your opponent dives on you, do not try to evade his onslaught, but fly to meet it. 7. When over the enemy's lines never forget your own line of retreat. 8. For the Staffel: Attack on principle in groups of four or six. When the fight breaks up into a series of single combats, take care that several do not go for one opponent.
NO COMMENT - (This rules still in use in 21TH Century...)

Things to Remember During a War
1. The only things more accurate than enemy fire is friendly fire.
2. Try to look unimportant, they may be low on ammo.
3. Teamwork is essential. It gives them more targets to shoot at.
4. No inspection-ready unit ever passed combat.
5. No combat-ready unit ever passed inspection.
6. Remember: your aircraft was made by the lowest bidder.
7. Never draw fire, it will irritate the rest of your formation.
8. Never share a cockpit with someone braver than you.
9. You are not Tom Cruise.
10. SAMs and AAA have the right-of-way.
11. If you aren't sure, the SAMs are pointed at you.
12. If hit, landing near the people that just shot you down is not a good idea.
13. Close only counts in horseshoes, nukes and proximity-fused missiles.
14. Smart bombs have bad days too.
15. The best defense is to stay out of range.
16. If you are short on everything but enemy, you are in combat.

Rules of Combat
USMC
Bring a weapon. Preferably, bring at least two. Bring all of your friends who have weapons. Bring their friends who have weapons. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Ammo is cheap. Life is expensive. Only hits count. Close doesn't count. The only thing worse than a miss is a slow miss. If your shooting stance is good, you're probably not moving fast enough, nor using cover correctly. Move away from your attacker. Distance is your friend. (Lateral and diagonal movement are preferred.) If you can choose what to bring to a gunfight, bring a big weaponand a friend with a big weapon. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber, stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived and who didn't. If you are not shooting, you should be communicating, reloading, and running. Accuracy is relative: most combat shooting is more dependent on "pucker factor" than the inherent accuracy of the weapon. Use a weaponthat works EVERY TIME. "All skill is in vain when an Angel pisses in the flintlock of your musket." Someday someone may kill you with your own weapon, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty. In combat, there are no rules, always cheat; always win. The only unfair fight is the one you lose. Have a plan. Have a back-up plan, because the first one won't work. Use cover or concealment as much as possible. The visible target should be in FRONT of YOUR weapon. Flank your adversary when possible. Protect yours. Don't drop your guard. Always tactical load and threat scan 360 degrees. Watch their hands. Hands kill. (In God we trust. Everyone else, keep your hands where I can see them). Decide to be aggressive ENOUGH, quickly ENOUGH. The faster you finish the fight, the less shot you will get. Be courteous to everyone, friendly to no one. Be polite. Be professional. But have a plan to kill everyone you meet. Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation. Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun, the caliber of which does not start with a ".4."

Thank's Mother Tommy ! What do yu suggest in front of compulsive pilot ? Do you have any Teamates rule by the way ? Any recommandation on the Ctrl + E button ? They said that pilots should always take there time before shooting a target. Is this also apply to the missiles ?
