[ftp]http://www.gopusa.com/news/2005/september/0915_pledge1.shtml[/ftp] Now I know this isn't a 'joke' but I think it should be. Having lived in the the States for 5yrs , going to High school there and I was in the Boy Scouts of America (believe it or not my best mate there became an Eagle scout) I know exactly what the Pledge of Allegiance means. I remember every morning at High school the pupils would pledge their Allegiance to the flag and even though I was told by my teacher that since I was English I didn't have to do it , but I have been raised to respect peoples ways and I felt that since I was living there I was happy to pledge my own Allegiance. Its a said day when the PC A$$holes of this world who obviously have nothing better to do with their time than bitch and whine pull stunts like this. Over here in the UK they are just as bad like banning nursery rhymes like 'Baa Baa black sheep' from Infant schools. These 'People need to get a life or a straight jacket end of rant

Not trying to vindicate the guy's ruling, but if the Judge is having to do what the Law-makers tell him to do, he's no more than a messenger..
The population can't sack the Judge, but ya can kick the law-makers that make those dumb-ass laws at any election(s).. and find someone who'll enact legislation that mean more than the warm-fuzzy PC crap we usually see..
This whole world's becomming so damn PC, will someone please wind the clock back 30 or so years please??

Actually in this case- this guy is not only a liberal water boy- he's also completely disengenuous & incompetent. The "precedent" he claims to be bound to was laughed out of the Supreme Court. So completely outrageous was the original ruling that they (9th circus court of appeals) actually reversed themselves rather than face the humiliation of yet another reversal of their asinine decisions. He is bound alright- bound to left wing wacko groups bent on turning this country to socialism.

Yeah, and don't point at the lawmakers. We have a serious problem in this country with our judiciary. They literally legislate from the bench, bypassing the lawmakers of the country. The 9th Circuit is by far the most liberal and has a history of making rulings that get turned around. But itr even goes as high as our Supreme Court, who ruled a month ago that the government can take your property and turn it over to PRIVATE companies and individuals so they can use it to turn a profit. Emminent domain is written directly into our Constitution and is very specific about how the gov can take your propery...and it certainly is not to give it over to a hotel financier so he can make a dime or two...

That's right- While all these dumbasses are having a field day bashing the president over a natural disaster- one that was completely mishandled by the corrupt local govt- He is changing the face of an out of control judiciary. Liberalism is defeated everytime it's put up to a vote of the people. The judicial branch has been the only way for them to circumvent us and impose their perverted beliefs. Through unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats.

Hi Crazy, Kon
Sorry, if my earlier post seems somewhat out of line, given what you've indicated..

OH not at all bro. It's one of many neat little tricks that the left and their accomplices in the media use to shift the blame to whomever they want. Basically- one should forever assume that they cannot beleive much of anything they see on the "mainstream" news or in the paper. There is an agenda being carried out. A CLASSIC example of the leftist media trying to CREATE news that fits their template. Here. And if you think the transcript is funny- listen to the audio. The reporter is just stupified as to why these people aren't trashing the president (dammit) The big host- Koppel- had to bail him out and cut the segment! I bet their earpieces were ready to explode! AUUGGGH get out of there- cut!! Ted!! go to break!!
