It's going to be a sad day for all, if this is allowed to be used on the internet.
No more TS, Skype, ICQ etc.
Most of the software we use is based on some form of Voip messaging system.

The free market will always take care of itself. Phone companies real problem is they gleefully enjoyed an abusive monopolistic position for decades. Now, they are bleeding subscribers profusely to cell phones and other forms of communication. A threat like this will only worsen their situation as free market capitalists rebuke them by voting with their wallets. Besides- their internet services are pretty laughable, and with millions switching to dedicated broadband the minute they can get it- they have MUCH bigger issues than TS
