Howdy all. Miss you all on my wing, been busy with work and all that other adult stuff and flying in Airforce wars as well, often when I am in there I think....darn we should have had the PR gents with us when we are outnumbered and bombers not organized while trying to take out various ground targets, nor is there any fighter escort around, with other words....any chance you guys come and wing me/us in there ? Instead of me tryin to explain what's all about, have a look here: war.by-airforce.com/index.phpIf any questions do not hesitate: mjoelner@telia.com C u all soon I hope Mj

It would be nice to see some of you gents there. Just something different then Zekes. Ojisan's are from all over the planet, its not often we all get to see and enjoy each other. I do get to see some of ya in my time zone every once in awhile, and it would be a pleasure to wing up when life permits.
Thanks Gents for considering!
I hope life finds all of you and your families healthy and safe!
Rock

Hello again gents. How it works, let me try and explain in short terms...... It is coop missions that are generated according to the frontline map: war.by-airforce.com/game-map.htmlEvery mission you fly has a direct effect on the frontline, i.e if a groundtarget has been overflown by recce planes in previous mission(s) strategic bombing of the target will be more effective. There is more to it than described above but one neat feature is worth mentioning though, if shot down behind enemy lines and either crash landed or bailed your buddy is able to land on a nearby road and pick you up, not in game ofcourse but statistic wise. Gents I hope you'll considder giving it a try and come and fly with us just to test it and see if you find it interesting. Not to desert the Warbirds servers, no just to try something else once in a while. If you guys sign up for it, one of you have to create a squadron which is easiest done in the following way...... Follow the registration link on the site and register a pilot (HL nickname) once that is done the very same pilot creates/register a squad of which he automatic becomes the CO, after that he simply asks his buddys to register under their HL nick as well ,only to seek membership of the CO's squad, CO then goes to squad administration (register link again) and allows the new pilot in. Mj P.s. Please register as blue flying for Luftwaffe or we will fight each other and we in Ojisan do not want to shoot at our friends

Hi MJ and Rock! Thanks for your posting and explaination. Looks interesting indeed. What do you think guys? Wanna venture to the eastern front and give it a try? Some noob question : 1. How the coop is being played? What i mean is who is the host? 2. What is the difficulty level? (full switch?) 3. Is there any pacific front AFW? cause I'm sucks flying Luftwaffe fighter but i do like their bombers ie Ju87 and Ju88 ;D 4. Can we fly AFW anytime we like? Or we have to wait till we have an opponent squad to fly it ie not against AI? 5. I think the biggest problem is time coordination, what time do you Ojisan guys usually fly AFW? p.s : Hmmm coop...i hope me ping don't went to the roof

I think the biggest problem is time coordination, what time do you Ojisan guys usually fly AFW? p.s : Hmmm coop...i hope me ping don't went to the roof Wildcards there is no such thing as noob question only foolish answers ! 1. Everybody can host, hosts goes to the site and picks a hosting slot for a coop that equals his slot in AFW room on HL. He then makes a request for generation of a mission for his side and asks someone else, can be anybody, to make a request for opposite side. Once mission has ended he then transfers the mission log file to the AFW server and all that has happened during the mission has effect on the frontline. You'll often see something like this, in the game description above hosts spot on HL: VVS up (Red upp), LW/OKL (blue) up. Meaning upper half of the available slots are for what ever side the host flyes for. 2. Speedbar only. 3. Yes there is an online PW but it is not running of some reason, I'd love to fly Corsairs in a thing like this but it's fun to fly 109, 190, Stukas etc. sometimes. 4. Well Wildcards we often met eventhough you live on the other side :-) Don't worry. Ping question......I've seen pings around 1000 without it being mentioned. BTW I've seen some weird Frenchies in there sometimes flying for red side, makes it even funnier to fly for blue LOL If anymore questions don't hesitate to ask, I had a lot of questions too when I did this the first times. Mail me if you want me to take the first of you through the registration process and I'll make myself available on TS. MJ
