I'm really am sad to here that CC is no longer with us. He will always be remembered in the hearts of all who fly for the Predators and all the other people who flew with him. I will remember him as a friend who ,despite all his problems, always had a joke and a laugh with us and his ability to fly so well still amazes me. I will sorely miss him God bless you CC and Gods speed My condolences to his family

I've been doing this for a long time and its moments like these that you dread. Anytime you get used to having someone around, in real life or virtually in our case, you will miss them when they are gone. I have known CC for several years, and I'll miss him greatly. In our L3 days, we had a lot of people join our squad. Alot of them quit if they didn't get the flying time they thought they deserved. CC didn't get to fly wars often. But he made every practice he could and was at every war, ready to fly, even if it was just stand-by. I can remember one war where we needed one round to win it, and my game locked up. CC was in and finished the round with a winning drop. He told me later that it was the best moment he had had as long as he had played the game. That was CC. He was a rock, no matter how tough it got. And he had alot of friends. Everyone who played with him liked him and respected him. I am sure, in real life, the same could be said. I consider him to be one of the closest friends I have had and will miss not hearing cheers of "CC!" when he signs on Teamspeak. If there's a Top Ten scoreboard somewhere keeping track of the number of people who loved you that you leave behind, CC has us all beat.

Never a good time for things like this. Eventhough I haven't been around for a long time, I still remember the CC man. I could barely hear his voice sometimes on chat, but I knew he was there and loved to watch him do his thing. I feel for his family and hope that they can get through this trying time. Makes you stop and look at where you are in your life and see what matters. It's amazing to me to see how this group has evolved and the friendships you guys have kept. I've enjoyed each and everyone, so its kind of a shock to hear news like this..away or not. Take care guys and don't ever think any of you are forgotten. I'll send some prayers for CC's family and hug my kids tonight.

I am deeply saddened to hear this. We all over here still in a state of shock. I have never meet CC personally but from my correspondence with CC on TeamSpeak i can say that he was a funny, entertaining and supportive person to have around. In spite of his difficulties and illness he still find time flying with us online still amaze me. I will always remember my flying time with CC especially our "SBD time".
Words are never enough at a time like this, but know that you CC are always in our hearts. My thoughts and condolences are with the Lutzmann family during this difficult time.
Rest in peace my friend.

Some of us got together in Ohio a couple of summers ago. CC was scheduled to make it to the airshow- we all really hoped to meet up with him at the time. Sadly, he was unable to make it and had to cancel at the last minute.

Been a while since I flew with the Preds, but CrazyCat I’ll always remember. Flew with him for probably a year before I saw a photo and realized the physical challenges he faced. Amazing guy, didn’t let his problems hold him back, no way. Sometimes things happen to put your priorities in order. God bless you CC and your family, I’ll fly wing for you anytime.

My condolences to his friends and family, what a loss, there was always a laugh and cheer with CC around even if I accidentely shot at his steady SBD, "it is ok Mj thank you for staying close to me anyway" now that was in the virtual world but how people act as well as their attitude there often, very often reflects how they are in the so called real world as well and I believe that was the case with CC if any, big loss, I'll miss you CC.

I will never forget the countless hours of fun and the happy sound of CC's voice. He set a standard for all of us. I'm glad I got to be a part of something that made him happy.
Tearfully Mr. & Mrs. Anderson

It is a very sad news.
I had number of oportunities of flying with CC. It was always great fun to join with him on the SBD runs. Ill miss those cheers on teamspeak when CC was joining the channel. Great pilot and companion passed away, we will keep him in our hearts.
