Ok guys as alot of you know I recently bought a Saitek X45 Joystick and here is my review on it. My last joystick was a Logitech Wingman 3D Extreme which suited me just fine until it stopped ,which is not surprising with the pounding it got. Fearing change I was about to buy a new one when someone showed me the X45. I read a couple of good reviews on it gritted my teeth and bought one. When it came it looked the Biz I had a few problems loading the 2000 drivers ( nothing new there) and after a couple of E-mails to Tech support they sorted me out in a couple of hours ( refreshing change). Then after configuring the numerous buttons time to fly. I felt like a Newb again a totally different flying style, but after a couple of days I was back up to scratch. BORED YET ? Its Pro's are that it is very responsive ,a good size, can put most of the keyboard controls on the stick and throttle, comfortable to use , 2yr warranty and the Tech support are very good and quick. Its cons are takes a bit of time to get used too , fairly pricey and it takes a fair bit of desk space. To finish I would say I think it was well worth the money and now i'm used to it I really like it. Would recommend it to anyone 9/10 cause there is no such thing as perfection. store.yahoo.com/saitekusa/x45digjoyand.html

I especially like the throttle control- that rotary knob looks very useful for zooming in and out the f11 display (looking at it online and at a store, too)

Had to go and get a new Stick myself. I was looking at the one Speedy got, but to me its just WAY to much stuff.. And like he said, it takes a far amount of Desk space.. So I ended up with the MS Sidewinder Precision 2. Took C.M.s advice on that one I like the feel, have to get use to the Buttons, but all in all, I LIKE IT the Pros, nice feel, small, dont take up a conter top and all in one unit hehehe
