no, i didn't buy this trash--i rented it... when i 1st heard they were gonna film HULK in SF, i thought "please don't let him show up in tight purple hotpants and say, 'Hulk gay'..."
after seeing the movie, they probably shoulda done that... woulda made sense, too... all i said throughout the flick was "this is gay!" DEALER mad....
poor word of mouth prevented me from seeing this drivel in the theater--thank God... Ang Lee made a KUNG-FU movie all sentimental and sh!t (liked it, though--Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? seen it?)... what the hell's he gonna do to a comic-book movie? what's with the father/son/Oedipus w/o the mom-to-bone-thing they have going on with the story? and why does Hulk frown so much? i thought Hulk mad?! at least Jennifer Connely was delectable--but still....
DEALER mad... if that green sumbish tried to grab a hold of my F22, my aoa rolls and loops would make him greener... i'd jettison him like a fuel-tank....
adaptations like this irk me... films of this sort should be made by fans of the material... ol Ang shoulda watched: Mortal Kombat, Lord of the Rings (all 3), Spider-man, Darkman, Superman, Resident Evil, and the Mask--among others....
i skipped the DVD extras cuz i didn't want to see Ang and the crew defend this crap... yeah, Hulk looked ok and all (as did the Commanches and F22s), but still....
if Jennifer Connely had a brief nude scene, i'd almost recommend a viewing... this is only for people who like to gawk at car-wrecks....
