Can I install PF over IL-2 without forgotten battles?

I'd also like to ask, what is the overall advantage of a merged install, Can you use aircraft from IL-2 in PF?

Hi, the answer to your 1st question is you can install Pacific Fighters on its own or install it over IL2 ,Forgotten Battles and Aces Expansion Pack for the merged version. The merged version advantage is that you have alot more plane and map choice

The biggest advantage(and the reason we're moving into the merged version eventually) is that far more people play the merged version. The merged servers usually have 3-4 times the people in them.
